Why ‘Yethu
South African consumers residing outside of the ‘suburbs’ have limited access to goods delivery services. They often have to undertake expensive journeys to procure goods for their households, using public transport. Our ecosystem is specifically designed on inclusion and leveraging current township economy players such as the Taxi and Spaza shop industry.
Team ‘Yethu
The ‘Yethu founding team is made up of entrepreneurs, actuaries, product designers, marketers and masters of technology. What do we all have in common? A drive to create human-centric products, enabled by technology, that offer access to goods and services to South Africans in underserved communities.
At ‘Yethu, we believe in dignified living and opportunities for all. We care about the people that we build products for, and the good of the wider community, which is why we have initiatives from education to social interventions through housing, private schooling, logisitics and community-owned retail.
Imagine a world where quality of life is not determined by income but is instead the measure of our society
